Lets' celebrate my new website with an overview of my photographic journey. From the beginning until now.
2004 - 2005
First shots. Equipped with an old Minolta xg-1. Inherited from my sweet grandma.
2005
Two lenses only, ( 70-210/4 and 50/1.4) I started to shoot everything. During hiking or in the garden. Learning the basics.

2005
With some extension tubes I widened my possibilities and creativity. First rolls of slide film.

2005
Experimenting with some borrowed lenses. After Minolta left the camera business I also changed to Nikon. I started to build up a full system.

2007
Shooting the widest range of topics. Landscapes, macro and bird photography. Everything. Whenever the school time allowed it.

2007
First year when I felt, I want to do this in my whole life.

2007
This year I also became the young nature photographer of the year, in a national competition (naturArt).

2009
Finally I finished with high school. I was free! My first travel was to Northern Ireland. Accidentally, I also got the travel bug.

2011
In 2010 I started to work. I wanted to save enough money to travel to Yemen. I spent two magical, life changing months on the island of Socotra. I planed to make an article for National Geographic, but "sadly" I met with Michael Melford who was on assignment for NatGeo in the same time... Obviously not my article was published...

2012
After saving some money again, I left for a half year long travel. Through Romania - Bulgaria - Turkey - Iran - India - Thailand - Malaysia - Singapore - Australia. Mostly hitchhiking. I brought all my gear. It was a huge mistake. I promised myself i will never travel again with a 30kg backpack...
2013
I traveled to Switzerland. I wanted to save some money for my next-big-travel. I sold all my Nikon gear. I equipped myself with the much lighter Fuji system. I never regretted. I also bought a Fuji GW690 medium format film camera.

2013
...And I fall in love with film again...
2013
I also started experimenting with mobile photography. It brought the feeling of spontaneity. I also started to convert my pictures into black and white. But overall, at the end of the year, I felt pretty down personally and I was disappointed with my photography. I felt its all pointless and useless.
2013
I had enough. So I decided I won't bring anything on my next travel, only my iPhone.

2014
I left for my big travel. I visited some friends in Portugal and Ireland, after a short stay in Hungary, I left again. Romania - Bulgaria - Turkey - Georgia - Russia - Kazakstan - China - Laos - Thailand - Malaysia - Singapore - Australia.
2014
Shooting only with an iPhone gave me a kind of lightness and spontaneousness what helped me to realise, what I really love in photogaphy. What are those subjects what I can truly connect with.
2014
What is really worth to shoot for me. Patterns, forest, trees. Moods and shapes.
2014
I converted more and more pictures in black and white. And I felt these like a distillation of what I love in a picture.
2015
In the same time I also wanted to shoot highest possible quality. But I never had the money for a medium format back, so I stayed with film. I also feel like its a more poetic medium. This is the current state. On this website you can see my recent works.
However I always try to keep in mind the only constant thing in the world, is actually change. So who knows what is next. In me, in my photography. I am waiting curiously.
